Bluestem Wellness Centers offering new year promotions

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. – With the dawn of the new year and the resolutions for better wellness that come with it, Bluestem Wellness Centers are offering added perks for new and existing members during the month of January. 

With locations in Hesston and North Newton, Bluestem Wellness Centers re-opened to the public for the first time since the start of the pandemic during the summer of 2021 and has been operating with adjusted “all members hours” since that time. Beginning with the start of the new year, hours at the Hesston location have returned to pre-pandemic standards for all members and the public. The North Newton location continues to operate with adjusted hours due to its location alongside health care and assisted living residents at Kidron Bethel Village.

“We’re excited to make some changes for the new year, and we’re looking forward to welcoming back both new members and those who have been faithful members,” said Jason Jones, director of Bluestem Wellness Centers. “We are grateful for our members in the community who have been patient and understanding through each phase of our re-entry plan.”

After the pandemic hiatus, Bluestem Wellness Centers are looking forward to reintroducing themselves to the communities they serve, and are welcoming new members with up to $100 in savings. 

New members who join during the month of January will receive:

Waived $25 joiner fee

One month free membership

10 bring-a-friend passes ($50 value)

Chance to win a $50 gift card for use at the Water’s Edge restaurant in Hesston or Hesston Bakery and Cafe

Existing members who refer a friend who joins in January will receive a free month of membership as well.

“These are great perks for pursuing health and wellness this month and throughout 2022,” said Jones. “For those who were members before the pandemic, now is the perfect time to return.”

In addition to the month of savings, Bluestem Wellness Center members always receive access to both locations, including all equipment, facilities, group fitness classes and personalized wellness services. 

Bluestem Wellness Center – Hesston is located at 701 S. Main Street. The Hesston location offers state-of-the-art cardio equipment, a full circuit of weight equipment, an indoor pool and hot tub, locker rooms, an indoor walking path, a variety of land and water classes and more.

Bluestem Wellness Center – North Newton is located at 420 Bluestem Street. The North Newton location features state-of-the-art weight and cardio equipment and a salt water pool that is kept at 91 degrees. The warmer water is ideal for individuals with arthritis or fibromyalgia. Other amenities include a hot tub, locker rooms and outdoor walking paths.
