Kidron Bethel Earns Zero Deficiencies Rating

November, 26, 2018

NORTH NEWTON, KANSAS—Kidron Bethel Village, a Bluestem community, earned zero deficiencies on their annual state survey. The survey is conducted by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS). This rating is a testament to Kidron Bethel’s dedication to providing quality, resident-centered health care.

“We are very pleased that the surveyors recognized Kidron’s commitment to resident quality of life which is integrated in our core values and demonstrated in every department,” said Linda Peters, executive director of Kidron Bethel Village.

A zero deficiency rating indicates that Kidron Bethel met both Kansas and federal regulations that are required to participate in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. This is an accomplishment that Peters said couldn’t have been done without the hard work of the entire Kidron Bethel staff.

“This is a powerful affirmation of the team that provides care and services every day on every shift and their dedication to the residents who choose to live at Kidron Bethel Village,” said Peters. “It takes each person in every department to create this result.”

The Bluestem community of Kidron Bethel Village is a five star rated nursing home on Medicare.gov and was recently named a “Best Nursing Home” by U.S. News & World Report.
