Bluestem Communities health care settings receive highest rating from U.S. News & World Report

NORTH NEWTON, KAN.—Both of Bluestem Communities’ life plan communities - Kidron Bethel Village in North Newton, Kan., and Schowalter Villa in Hesston, Kan. – have received the highest possible rating, “High Performing,” in the U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Nursing Homes for 2024.

The rating considers more than 15,000 skilled nursing care providers across the country, and 19% earn the highest “High Performing” rating.

For the ratings, U.S. News and World Report considered both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services for several quality measures. The annual ratings help equip individuals and families with information they can use to help choose the right care setting for themselves or a loved one.
