Kidron Bethel Village to celebrate 100 with open house

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. — Kidron Bethel Village will celebrate a century of serving seniors with a public open house on Thursday, August 27, from 3:30 to 6 p.m., at 3001 Ivy Dr., North Newton, Kan.

The come-and-go event will feature historical displays, tours of the Kidron Bethel Village main building, live music and light refreshments. 

What is known today as Kidron Bethel Village began in 1926 as Bethel Home for the Aged, an auxiliary ministry of the Bethel Deaconess Hospital. Today, Kidron Bethel Village is part of the Bluestem Communities network, and offers a continuum of senior living and care from independent living to assisted living and health care. The milestone anniversary honors the community’s rich heritage while looking toward a vibrant future for generations of residents to come.
