Schowalter Villa to host annual vintage car show

HESSTON, Kan. — The community is invited to join Schowalter Villa residents and their families for a vintage car show on Friday, May 15, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., in the main front parking lot at 200 W. Cedar St., in Hesston.
“The car show is always a highlight for Schowalter Villa residents because they enjoy reminiscing about the vehicles that were part of their own life,” said Cherie Wohlgemuth, car show organizer. “We appreciate everyone who brings their vehicles to be admired and those who stop by to join in the fun!”
Next door to the car show activities, Hesston Bakery and Cafe will be open and selling items from their regular menu. Hesston Bakery and Cafe is located in the lobby of Mullet Place Assisted Living.
Schowalter Villa, a life plan community part of Bluestem Communities, is home to more than 435 residents living in health care, assisted living and independent living neighborhoods.
