Bluestem Communities is celebrating its past and future with a trio of open house events. Residents, staff and the public are all welcome to join in the celebrations.
Cedar Ridge Open House at The Cedars

Cedar Ridge Houses 805 and 807

For the past couple of years, The Cedars had shared some of its space with McPherson College to help meet student housing needs. Earlier this year, those spaces within the Cedar Ridge House complex were returned to The Cedars and have received updates to adequately fit the needs of health care residents. Stop by to see the refurbishments and learn more about the top-quality health care provided at The Cedars.
Celebrating a century of Kidron Bethel Village

In May of 2026, Kidron Bethel Village in North Newton observed the 100-year anniversary of its founding organization, Bethel Home for the Aged, an auxiliary ministry of the Bethel Deaconess Hospital. The last 100 years have seen Kidron Bethel Village grow and evolve into what it is today. The open house celebration will be a come-and-go event with light refreshments, historical display, live music and opportunities to connect with the Kidron Bethel Village, Bluestem and wider communities.
